.....the time is 1966....the Magnavox console stereo (the biggest one my Dad could find) with its 20 inch woofer mounted only inches from the turn-table blasting at full volume in all its feed-back filled glory the sounds of the inimitable Bert Kaempfert....being put to sleep each night to "Three O'clock in the morning" and "That Happy Feeling", Letting "Midnight in Moscow" become the background music to my dream-world.
